His journey began in an unlikely place—a hospital bed—after surviving third-degree burns as a toddler. A compassionate nurse handed him a toy piano and taught him to play “Chopsticks,” sparking a passion that would shape his destiny.

Despite growing up in the foster care system from ages 4 to 17 and navigating the streets, Marq found redemption through faith. Music became his lifeline, and he developed into a skilled artist—writing, producing, and mixing his own tracks. His raw testimony and anointed sound set him apart, making him a voice for those searching for purpose.

Marq was formerly a member of GFLS (God’s Frontline Souljahs)—a collective alongside RockstarrKevv and Iceberg517—where he helped spread the message of faith through music. While proud of his time with GFLS, he later stepped out to find his unique voice and carve his own path in the industry.
