Born Mark D. McCombs Jr. on August 14, 1985, in Dayton, Ohio, Marq Muziq is a powerful force in Christian hip-hop, using his music to inspire and uplift others. His journey began after surviving third-degree burns as a toddler, where a nurse introduced him to music. Growing up in the foster care system, Marq found redemption through faith, using music as his lifeline and developing into a skilled artist. His raw testimony and anointed sound make him a voice for those searching for purpose.
After gaining recognition as a member of GFLS (God’s Frontline Souljahs), Marq embarked on a solo career with his debut album Covered in the Blood (2014). Now, he’s preparing for the release of his highly anticipated album in Fall 2025, featuring singles like “Sent by the Ghost” and the anthem “F.I.L.M.S.” Through every song and performance, Marq captivates audiences with his passionate, spirit-led music, aiming to inspire and guide others toward faith and redemption.
